As outlined in the BNB Chain Fusion roadmap, significant changes are on the horizon as Beacon Chain is set to retire, with its functionalities migrating to BNB Smart Chain (BSC). Notably, the anticipated disablement of the Atomic Swap feature on Beacon Chain in February 2024 directly impacts Rainbow Wallet users holding BNB and BUSD assets. It is crucial that users plan your asset transition to ensure the safety of funds, and we are here to guide you through the process.

To ensure a smooth shift, we are now calling all users to take immediate action.

  1. The initial step involves transferring your BNB and BUSD from IRISnet to Beacon Chain using the Rainbow Wallet, and you can find detailed instructions in the guide provided here.
  2. Subsequently, it is crucial to proceed with moving your BNB and BUSD to BSC following the instructions provided by the BNB Chain, accessible in the “Before the Beacon Chain Fusion -> For Cryptocurrency Holders” section here.

Following February 2024, the Rainbow HTLT feature will be offline due to the disabled Atomic Swap on the Beacon Chain. Although we are introducing a one-way IRISnet to BSC gateway to facilitate the transition, users should be mindful of the associated on-chain fees.

Swift and decisive action is paramount. Users are strongly encouraged to take prompt action to safeguard funds. For any questions or concerns, we invite you to join our Discord and inquire in the 🦾-wallet-support channel.
