Uptick is the first NFT app in Cosmos/IRISnet ecosystem, based on the strategic cooperation between Uptick Network and IRISnet. It supports digital collectible cards and e-tickets in the current phase and will cover more NFT categories in e-ticketing and its surrounding industries.

As an active player in global blockchain domain, Uptick Network team started in NFT direction in 2018 and is making constant progress across the years. The project focuses on NFT space and keep the long term vision on digital asset management.

It needs to be pointed out that a prosperous ecology will not be built overnight, and the day of release is the beginning of the real journey. Uptick is a decentralized application. The difference between it and many current NFT platforms lies in its decentralized features, including the decentralization of technical architecture, operating model, and business model. Each user is the owner of his own business and has his own maximum degree of freedom. Therefore, the initial stage of Uptick requires the full participation of every user, and use it as a display and sales platform for your own works and activities, so as to realize the zero-distance interaction between you and your fans.

Main Functions

Account creation and wallet usage

Uptick is open to the global community, you can create the account by entering your nickname and password. Please keep your mnemonic properly, once you lose it, Uptick will not be able to retrieve it for you.

After login, you check and manage your IRIS wallet on the [My]-[Wallet] page.

The purchase of NFT assets

[Market] displays the first-hand NFT assets created by the original creators, while [Resale] displays the second-hand NFT assets resold by the other holders. Since Uptick currently covers two major usage scenarios — Collectibles and Events, you can switch to each to scenarios freely by clicking the tab in the market and resale page. And you can browse and purchase the products as you need.

● Collectibles: You can preview the card style and the basic information.
● Personal Events: You can preview the basic information of the activity, product evaluation and notes.

Once you have decided on what you are going to buy, submit the order and complete the payment. Since on-chain operation takes time, normally several seconds, please check the order status in the order list later.

After the purchase succeeded, you can check the collectibles you purchased or the activities you participated in in the [Collections].

The transfer and resale of NFT assets

Uptick provides a convenient NFT transfer function, users can freely transfer their own NFT assets to relatives and friends, or resell them to secondary markets. Select the NFT assets to be transferred in the [Collections] page, and click the [Transfer/Resale] button at the head of the NFT details page.

● Transfer: Fill in the receiver’s wallet address, enter the wallet password to complete the transfer. The receiver can check in his or her collection page.
● Resale: Fill in the resale price and enter the wallet password to list the asset on secondary market. The status of NFT assets are changed to “Onsale” in both [Collections] page and in [Resale]-[My Sales] page. You can click the “Withdraw” button in the NFT details page at any time to withdraw the NFT assets from the secondary market.

The creation and sales of NFT assets

At this stage, Uptick provides two creation templates for users. In the future, the usage scenarios will be continuously enriched and more templates will be added. Please click [My]-[Create] to start the creation process.

The creation of NFT assets requires several second, please check the creation results later. For successfully created NFT assets, you can click the “↑” button (the third button from the left), to start selling your NFT assets in primary market. And of course, you can withdraw your NFT assets.

The management and verification of NFT assets

Uptick provides sales statistics so that asset creators can check the sales of NFTs in [Me]-[My Creations].

Uptick also provides the NFT asset verification function. Click [To Verify] to scan the NFT asset QR code to display different content:

● Collectibles: verify the authenticity and whether it is issued for you.
● Personal events: check the event tickets and change the NFT status to “Used”. It could meet the needs of offline events and ticket inspection.

On-chain Information Display

The transfer of IRIS token and NFT assets in Uptick are processed on IRISnet mainnet, ensuring that the transactions are true, effective and traceable. Users can find brief blockchain related information in Uptick, and can check the transaction details in IRISnet mainnet browser.

● Order details: display the basic information of the order, and you can view its transaction details in the browser

● NFT asset details: display the NFT ID, and in the browser you can view the every transaction record of this NFT asset after being minted.

● Wallet transaction records: display both the transfer of IRIS token and NFT assets, briefly showing the transaction direction, transaction object, block number and timestamp. And more information in browser too.

Personal Homepage and subscription

The Uptick network team believes that in addition to providing users with convenient basic functions such as NFT creation, purchase, transfer, and management, the social attributes of the application are very important. Therefore, when Uptick Beta was launched, a personal homepage and subscription were introduced. We hope that every Uptick user can have his own decentralized personal “shop” and discover treasures on Uptick.

● Personal homepage: display NFT assets created by users and listed for sale.

● Followers: Follow the creators you are interested in to get the latest news.

About Service Fee

Uptick is open to everyone and does not charge any platform entry fees, allowing all application users to freely create and manage their own NFT assets.

In addition, Uptick specially set up the creator’s profit sharing model. As the original creator of NFT assets, every time the NFT asset is sold in the secondary market, the creator will get a percentage of the sales as an incentive. Let every creator have the ability to get benefits continuously and create better works.

Correspondingly, in order to cover all underlying fees and keep the platform running. Uptick will charge the following two types of fees:

● Service Fee: A small amount fee will be charged by Uptick when you mint NFT or put NFT assets on the market for sale.

● Platform Split Fee: When your NFT assets are sold, Uptick will take a portion of the sales.
