Wireframing for “Emov”

Below are screenshots of the car share app “Emov”, followed by my attempt to create low fidelity wire frames of each screen in order to focus only on the flow of the app.

The main goal of an effective wireframe is to be clear enough for the user or stakeholder to understand the concept, but sufficiently simple so as to avoid conversations being dragged off topic onto more detailed points at such an early stage in the design process. Such conversations should only come after the flow of the app has been thought out and finalised.

Sketch was again very effective for this task, in many ways this was simpler than the previous challenge. The hardest factor was actually remaining disciplined andremembering that, being a wireframe, there is no need to obsess over the appearance and use of icons and images etc. It is very easy with Sketch to get sidetracked and start trying to perfect every aspect of the design. The key to wireframing is to ensure you don´t lose sight of the overall goal, which is to provide an explanation of the app´s flow, without the distraction of beautiful designs, colour or images etc.

Below are my first attempts at wireframing based on the high fidelity screens above. I think it serves it´s purpose, however if I were to do it again I would concentrate even less on the images so as to complete the task quicker.
