“When Songkran starts, everyone laughs” This sentence could easily be the slogan for this special celebration. Three days are needed to celebrate the most essential element: water. During these three days, towns are empty but villages are full. People enjoy songrkran to see family and stay together.

There are several ways to celebrate Songkran. You can either stay at home and wait for people for water them. You can also take the road and water at high-speed. At the back of pick-up will crowd sometimes up to a dozen people gathered around one or more bowls filled with water to the brim.
