Iskra Secures Investments From Base, GSR, and Planetarium
It’s a big month for Iskra as we secured strategic investments from Base Ecosystem Fund , GSR , and Planetarium Labs — three of the leading global names in the industry.
With their support, we’re thrilled to bring Iskra’s range of services to the next level as an all-in-one Web3 gaming and publishing platform.
“Following the Animoca Brands’ investment in April, it is significant that ‘key players’ from various Web3 players gathered in Iskra’s strategic investment,” Iskra’s CEO and co-founder Eugene Lee explained. “Based on this strategic investment, we will revitalize the Base-based Iskra ecosystem and move forward to an all-in-one Web3 game platform.”
Base Ecosystem Fund
Base Ecosystem Fund, led by Coinbase Ventures, was launched in 2023 and aims to invest in the next generation of projects that’s building on Base.
Continuing on Iskra’s previous collaboration with Base during Onchain Summer 2023 and our migration to Base earlier this year, we are thrilled to forge another chapter that will help us integrate more Base products into the Iskra ecosystem.
This includes Smart Wallets that allows users to log in to their accounts easily with a passkey while doing away with the need for extensions, app installs, or complex seed phrases. It’s one wallet and one address that implements enterprise-grade security and works universally across major L2s and onchain apps.
We’re also looking forward to integrating for a simple and magical gasless user experience on the Iskra platform.
