Fajr means the explosion of light through the night’s darkness.
The Fajr prayer is the last prayer of the night where we raise our voices in recitation before the sun rises. .

I like to think of this prayer as a gratitude prayer, we wake up and thank Allah that we actually woke up. That He gave us yet another chance to seek and bring light into our lives despite all the darkness we’ve been through and all the darkness we committed. .

His Mercy and His Forgiveness are actual light that explodes through darknesses surrounding us or in us. .

And Fajr is the soul’s first meal of the day, one that will keep it nourished, positive and tranquil until the next one when the sun is at its peak.
So have it right, and have it on time!
