Lost and Found

A Poem

Photo by Andreas Wagner on Unsplash

Sometimes I feel like I am
lost and found at the same time
A body lost in a body
walking a neverending path
and waiting for the ball to drop

But sometimes when I am lost
I truly realize that it’s purposeful
and I threw myself into this maze
to get away from the hysteria
and listen to the birds sing
