Diana Donald is the author of The Blue, Blue Sky, a collection of children’s stories, which she describes as, “… pure love … the kind that gives meaning to our lives on the inside … on the inside where the center of our world resides.” Besides being an author, she is also a psyc
hotherapist, mother, and grandmother.

Donald writes on her biography for the Blooming Twig website that:

“I came to the field of Psychotherapy with a background of Physiotherapy and Social Work and came to realize that it seems we’re all impacted very early on. We’re then stitched together by these emotional experiences and begin to live on a continuum of those experiences. To reach five year old children when they are five, instead of twenty five and allow them to trust in the beauty of their own soul would be wondrous.”

After going back to school at the age of 54, Donald, in many ways, reinvented her life, and gave her children a solid example of never quitting, despite life’s obstacles. Helped along by a big heart, creativity, and passion for inspiration and family, Donald wrote The Blue, Blue Sky children as well as the kid, deep down, in all of us.

“When we truly understand how singular we really are, and are truly proud of the beauty in all that, we’ve truly valued the gift of this life we’ve been given. It’s all so simple. I’m hoping that my children, my grandchildren, and all children will pass that on to adults everywhere.”
