Student-friendly lofts are example of repurposing industrial spaces for housing.

Riverfront Lofts was a building started as a three-story paint company that has been around since the 1930s by American Can for making tin cans. Then the building was sold to Pillsbury in 1963. From then until 1991, Pillsbury made various food product lines, such as instant breakfasts, gravy mixes, and cake mixes and cake. Look deeper into the renovations and how the community felt about this change for a historic building.

Riverfront was empty for years before it was bought and remodeled. On the left side is the building as an empty space and not being used for anything. On the left side is where it was renovated and became apartments. In 2015 Core Development bought the building and transformed it into residential apartments.

This is an aerial view of the apartment complex from the Wabash River. I have been told that if you want a river view out of your apartment you will be paying more than if you had a track view or front view.

A courtyard allows residents and their guests to sit outside. When it’s warm you will see several students sit there and study or do their homework.

This is the view from the parking lot where the entrance is which is the side. There are several entrances but this is the view that is also facing the University. Even though this view is not that pretty you still get to know where you parked your car and you are closer to your car than someone who is on the riverside view.
