Call Masking is a vital feature for businesses. Masking is the art of hiding the actual number with another one that you own. Why do you need masking you ask?

  1. The team should always feel local

Local means being available to them whenever they feel lost. You are a part of the neighbourhood and neighbours will support each other in crisis

2. Hide your customer’s numbers

When you need to ensure the privacy of your callers, you need the call masking feature. Whether you are running a helpline where this information is sensitive or you are required by law to shield your customers, there is no better way to accomplish this than by using Call Masking

3. Run a global support team

Masking lets you run one global support team. One team; trained well and supports the entire world in terms of your operations. Ensure your calls get masked with local numbers.

Mask Alert:

When you mask your number A with the local number B. Your customers see only B and never know A. So if they want to reach out to you, they will call the number B. Ensure that you have call forwarding options from B to A so that customers never realize that you have been masking your number. If you are running a helpline, advertise that your customers will never have to worry about being identified.

Call Masking Providers:

There are numerous business phone system and call center software providers who help you with Call Masking. We managed to find quite a few from the internet. Some of them (in no particular order) are MyOperator, Freshcaller, Exotel, Twilio. We also found some helpdesk solutions providing masking options. However we have included only phone solutions in our post.
