⏰ In short

  1. No more downtime on Soundsgood #FridayNewMusic
  2. New “Sync” button to choose when your playlist should be updated
  3. Monitor each streaming platform sync status separately
  4. Faster pace to release new exciting features in 2018!

Over the last three years, our community has grown tremendously from a few playlist curators to thousands of professional influencers.

Every day, you update hundreds of playlists simultaneously for your 36 million streaming followers and the millions more on your website, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. 🚀 It was too much for the good ol’ Soundsgood that eventually grew slow and buggy. 😌

Our product and engineering teams have been working tirelessly for the last 6 months to rebuild the Soundsgood core technology from scratch. This new foundation — codename: heartBeat 2.0 ❤️ — is now live, and we can’t wait for you to get your hands on it!

Here’s what to expect:

  • No more downtime— With the community growing, Soundsgood became annoyingly slow🐌, especially on Fridays when we all update our playlists simultaneously with new music releases. Our entirely new architecture ensures lightning-fast responsiveness and reliability at scale.
  • 📆 You chose when your playlist should be updated — Click the new “Sync” button to push your playlist update across your streaming profiles. Don’t worry, each edit is still auto-saved in Soundsgood! This gives you more control on when your update should be pushed everywhere.
  • Monitor each streaming platform sync status separately — In your Playlist Editor, independent spinners help you monitor with which streaming platform your playlist is still in sync, or ready for review.
  • 🔮 Built for what’s next: heartBeat 2.0 ❤️ lays the foundation for the future of our platform, bringing performance, scalability, but also driving us on a much faster pace to release new exciting features in 2018. In a few weeks, you’ll be able to sync your playlists with the booming High-Res streaming platform Qobuz and others to come.

Sounds like a bit obscure and technical? Just head to Soundsgood now and update your playlists as usual, you’ll just feel it. :) Stay tuned!

PS. When you have a moment, check out “Leroy Sanchez” artist website. You will see a very interesting way to use the Soundsgood player to promote an album instead of a playlist.

Is album-sharing something that you would like to see in 2018? Please let us know in the comments what new features you expect the most!
