Just got the news about Bop.fm shutting down its service.

For the sake of the music industry, we still need startups who transcend boundaries between all the streaming platforms. And that’s a vision we share at Soundsgood with the amazing team behind Bop.fm. Like Stuart Dredge says on Musically:

“ The challenge of interconnections between the various streaming platforms remains both for fans wanting to share playlists with friends on another service, and for labels trying to find easier ways to direct fans to new music on the service of their choice.”

Soundsgood is the curation service used by leading music curators in Europe. We are now scaling to unite the world’s first community of music curators.

  • All those DJs, artists, journalists, bloggers, labels, festivals and eclectic music lovers can create cross-platform playlists to embed on their websites, their newsletters and social networks.
  • We are currently beta-testing our next big feature : the playlist synchronization across all streaming platforms. Soundsgood automatically publish and sync your playlists on all your streaming channels such as on Spotify, Deezer and YouTube.

From an industry point of view, Soundsgood helps the market evolve to Premium streaming by bringing curators and curated playlists on all streaming platforms. It’s in our DNA to nurture close relations with the key players (major and indie labels, streaming platforms, tastemakers) and with them we realized that the online music ecosystem don’t need a new place to listen to music, it needs great editorial playlists on every music platforms. And Soundsgood may be this missing link between the tastemakers and their audiences fragmented among all streaming platforms.

Here’s a link explaining how Soundsgood works and where curators can get started, a video doing the same job without the sync feature, and our Press Corner.

Have a lovely day, here in Paris the night comes ♪♫
