Temptations Remix

Sometimes you have to leave a classic alone. I have heard quite a few remixes of classic songs by Motown artists, Michael Jackson and others that probably would have been best left untouched. These artists are some of the greatest to ever make music. Their music is still beyond amazing long after the time when it is the popular genre. However, Sometimes you do not need to leave it alone. Sometimes you need to #LeaveYourAutograf.

Autograf is a trio from Chicago, who has done quite the job remixing a Temptations classic, “Ain’t To Proud to Beg.” Check it out on Soundcloud below. It is also available for free download.

This is not the first time they have remixed a classic. One of the first songs I ever heard by this group was their remix of Marvin Gaye’s “I Heard it Through the Grapevine.” Once I heard how they put their own twist on that song while still preserving some elements like that amazing bassline I was hooked.
