According to the Bugatti’s official website: “the Chiron is the most powerful, fastest and exclusive production super sports car in BUGATTI’s brand history. Its sophisticated design, innovative technology and iconic, performance-oriented form make it a unique masterpiece of art, forme and technique that pushes boundaries beyond imagination.”
When it was launched on the market, Bugatti President Wolfgang Dürheimer said: “Our customers want the best of the best. This truly impressive performance further confirms that the Chiron is the world’s best super sports car, 300 of the limited series of 500 Chiron have already been sold. The success story of this exceptional super sports car continues.”

32 seconds and 60 cents: it is the time taken by the new Bugatti Chiron to officially establish the new record in acceleration from 0 to 400 km/h, a truly monstrous leap if you think that the airlines take off at a speed between 250 and 300 km / h.
To establish this new record was the former Formula 1 pilot Juan-Pablo Montoya, one of the few able to intervene with due energy on the brake pedal (0.8 seconds occurred from reaching 400 km / h) to stop the Chiron turned into a real ‘projectile’ on the asphalt. The performance of the Bugatti Chiron — which uses a 1,500 hp W16 8.0 engine — was obtained on the German track of Erha-Lessien, in Lower Sassionia, in the presence of a team of the SGS certification agency Tuv Saar who took over the data of the acceleration test to ‘formalize’ the record. It should be noted that in Chiron the maximum speed is electronically limited to 380 km / h and to overcome this value — an indispensable condition for 42.6 seconds — Montoya, like any (very rich) owner of this model, Bugatti had to activate a second key in the appropriate housing on the central tunnel in order to move the parameters that allow you to get to 420 km / h, which in turn is managed electronically.

Although the Bugatti Chiron is the most fastest supercar worldwide for its new record in acceleration, we must also consider the Ferrari 812 Superfast. Indeed, according to the brand’s official website: “with its output boosted to 800 hp, the 812 Superfast is the most powerful and fastest road-going Ferrari ever built (with the exception, of course, of the rear-engined special limited-series 12-cylinders). The 812 Superfast thus ushers in a new era in Ferrari 12-cylinder history, and, in doing so, builds on the invaluable legacies of the F12berlinetta and F12tdf.
To make full use of that huge power and to guarantee perfect weight distribution, the car exploits a highly evolved transaxle architecture that couples a front-mounted engine with a rear-mounted transmission. It is also the first Ferrari equipped with EPS (Electric Power Steering).” Moreover, it goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. It is a fantastic supercar that you can use every day.

Recently, the Ferrari 812 Superfast won the award of ìAuto Europa Sportiva 2018′. To determine this award were many Italian journalists who, with 264 votes, have decreed its success preferring it to the Lamborghini Huracan Performante (that has obtained 228 preferences) and to the Porsche 911 GT3 (that has obtained 93 votes).
