Porsche has announced the arrival of a second electric in its range. In fact, the mass production of a model derived from the Mission E Cross Turismo was confirmed, the concept presented in the last few months at the Geneva Motor Show and in turn derived from the Mission E, expected in 2019 on the market under the name Taycan. In order to produce the new electric crossover, Porsche will add 300 workers to the 1,200 already planned for the Taycan in the Zuffenhausen factory. The investments fall within those already announced by the industrial plan, with around six billion for the electrification of the range by 2022.

This incredible car has 600 hp and over 500 km of autonomy. But let’s put a focus on its features: many of its stylistic details are already close to the definitive ones. The bodywork recalls the setting of the Panamera Sport Turismo with the shooting brake formula, but adds an unprecedented off-road characterization. The powertrain is the same as the Taycan, with an axle motor, for a total of 600 hp, and with batteries capable of guaranteeing an autonomy of more than 500 km with recharge times of 15 minutes for 80% of the energy thanks to the columns CCS of 350 kW.
