Previously, we took a look at EOScanner. Today, we’ll be going over EOStock, the Chrome Extension Wallet developed by ITAM Network that’s being utilized by many people.
The World’s First Chrome Extension EOS Wallet
EOSTOCK is the world’s first Chrome Extension EOS Wallet that offers the features to transfer and stake EOS, manage RAM and view transaction histories, and more! The widely-used “Scatter” is mainly used for authentication, as opposed to EOStock. The majority of the EOS wallets that has all of the features EOStock offers are very inconvenient to use. This is why ITAM Network decided to develop the Chrome Extension EOS Wallet that is easy to use, with all of the features: EOStock.
Easy and Intuitive Consumer Experience
Similar to EOScanner, EOStock was developed so that users can intuitively and easily find the features they need. The various graphs and information on the main screen are organized so that it can easily be seen at once, and the key features, such as transferring or staking, have optimized designs with meticulous UX. Furthermore, it’s not only user-friendly for users that have already used EOS services, such as MetaMask or Scatter, since all of the features are available with the installment of the EOStock Chrome Browser Extension Program, but they can also have the best accessibility.
A Quick Q&A with the EOStock Developer, Kwon Dongjun
As with the look inside EOScanner, we’ll have a short Q&A with the developer of EOStock, Kwon Dongjun.
Question: Does EOStock have a similar story behind its birth as EOSCANNER?
Dongjun: Yes. As I wrote on “The Procedure of EOStock Development,” I made EOStock as practice while studying eosjs, wanting to make something similar to MetaMask.
Question: Any difficulties you faced while developing EOStock?
Dongjun: Definitely. EOStock, unlike EOScanner, is an extension, and therefore, merely testing while developing was difficult. In addition, there were hardships with cli, vue, and other development-related problems. Apart from development, it was difficult building trust between EOStock and the users after its launch.
Question: Are there any updates on the way for EOStock?
Dongjun: Recently, we added the features to search tokens, transfer, and view transaction histories, making it a full-fledged wallet. We are working diligently to add a notification feature, so that users are alerted when the registered wallet has completed a transaction. Other than this, we are in the talks with the planning team to add further features. Please watch the further development of EOStock.
