Bringing our unique NFMe ID into ZoidPay’s eCommerce Metaverse
We’re delighted to announce that Itheum has entered into a brand new strategic partnership with the revolutionary pioneer in payment solutions, ZoidPay. We will collaborate to bring Itheum’s NFMe ID Avatar into ZoidPay’s innovative HyperMall, empowering users to shop freely in the metaverse using their personal data preferences. ZoidPay will aim to adopt our exclusive Retail Passport powered by the NFMe ID Data Technology, empowering users to own and operate their data to enhance their shopping experience.
In the age of technological advancements, and the evolution of the Web, the aspect of “eCommerce” has exploded, with the traditional way of shopping evolving. Web 2.0 has led to the rise of global stores, like Amazon and eBay, along with subscription models like Netflix. These sites have become the norm in today’s world as they allow people to order almost anything online at the click of a button and arrive the next day. This phenomenon has led to incredible adoption, and ZoidPay is looking to take this to the next level once more.
We’re in the Web 2.0 era of targeted advertisement, and your shopping history, preferences, interests and so on are all being exploited by data brokers and other organizations to re-target you with similar products. Scary right? I’m sure you’ve bought something and then gone to check your phone later and see an ad pop up for similar products. This is the result of your data being stolen and used by these companies for profit, which should not be allowed to continue. This partnership is one giant step in solving this massive global problem and looking ahead to a world where YOU, the shopper, can now own all of your shopping data, including your shopping history and preferences, and be rewarded for doing so.
During our collaborative efforts to bring a truly unique partnership plan to the space, one of the stand-out use-cases is the introduction of Itheum’s NFMeID Avatar into the ZoidPay HyperMall, which is in the metaverse. The talented team at ZoidPay are currently working on this incredibly innovative feature, and we will be awaiting new updates and exciting news soon. Essentially, the HyperMall will allow consumers to interact with products and services in the metaverse which they are interested in before deciding to purchase.
Once our Retail Passport technology has been implemented, shoppers can mint and claim an NFMe ID Avatar (a soulbound NFT linked to their identity) which will exist in their cryptocurrency wallets. The shopper will also have their own dashboard to monitor and track their shopping history and behavior.

Data management is of great interest to me, having worked extensively with it in my previous startup, which was a data-driven entity. I realise how it can be a tool to empower, and how important it is for users to have control over their data. All of the products we are building has one core driving principle: decentralisation.
