Vote for Itheum — Polygon Grant Hackathon
We are very excited to be taking part in the Polygon Grant Hackathon. In this post we will detail what we are building as part of this hackathon and how you can vote and support us.
What is Itheum building for the Polygon Hackathon?
We are excited to be building two technical implementations as part of our Hackathon submission and aim to deploy these into the Polygon chain.
1) Multisig Protected Data Coalition Fund Pool
As part of this POC we’d like to demonstrate how Multisig technology can make the Itheum DAO-controlled “Data Coalition Fund Pool” more robust and less prone to centralised influence and attacks. We will be using Gnosis Safe to enable this feature.

Itheum is a decentralised data brokerage. It’s a cross-chain “Data DEX” that allows users to trade personal data…
2) Trusted Computation Framework
Itheum will enable privacy-preserving computation via our “Trusted Computation Framework” which enables Data Creators to share sensitive data from their Personal Data Vaults along with their regular data and allow for the “sensitive dataset” to be assessed for suitability for specific buyer use-cases — all without exposing the identity and entire personal dataset that is in “locked possession” of the Data Creator.

How can I vote for Itheum?
You will need the a web wallet like MetaMask connected to the Polygon/Matic Blockchain Network (with some MATIC tokens for voting and gas) in order to vote for Itheum in this Hackathon. The below will walk you though the process.
1. Enter the Polygon Grant Hackathon Interface
Open the browser and enter the Grant hackathon interface: https://hackerlink.io/en/grant/Polygon/1/buidl
2. Log In / Sign Up
Click Log in/Sign up in the upper right corner to register or login.
3. Itheum Project Page
After your Log in/Sign up has succeed, head over here to visit the Itheum <> Polygon application page (which includes project details) — https://hackerlink.io/en/buidl/1045?roundProj=914
Note the “Voting for this Project” section on the right side of the page.
Connect your MetaMask or WalletConnect to vote for us.
4. Voting for Itheum
In this hackathon; the first vote on the project will cost 1 MATIC. According to the quadratic financing algorithm, your Nth vote for the same project requires 1*N MATIC. For example, if I want to vote 4 votes, then I need 1+2+3+4=10 MATIC.
5. Vote Successful
After you enter the specific number of votes via a $MATIC payment, click to confirm. After the vote is successful, a prompt will pop up at the top of the page to indicate that the donation is successful.
Thank you for your support and help to grow adoption of the Itheum platform. We will keep you posted on platform upgrades and features ~
Itheum empowers data ownership in the Web3 and Metaverse ecosystems and creates new market value for your data. It enables this by providing “decentralized data brokerage” technology. It’s a suite of tools that enable high-value data to be bridged from web2 to web3 and then be traded via peer-to-peer sales. It allows for “viral adoption” via our creative “Data NFTs” (provide “inner value” to NFTs and enable royalties / limited supply) and “N.F.Me” technology (a living Metaverse avatar representation of you — wrapped as an NFT and backed by personal data) and our innovative Data Coalition DAOs (which bulk sell your data). It also aims to be fully privacy-preserving, regulation-friendly and cross-chain; making it the most comprehensive core blockchain data infrastructure available in the market with use-cases in both the enterprise and consumer space.
