Meeting of Alex Shootman and the Armenian Tech Community
On April 10, 2019 more than 250 people gathered around the idea of “getting work done”, not only done, but done it in a right and proper way.
Alex Shootman, President and CEO at Workfront, had given a unique opportunity to the professionals and all the interested individuals to meet him, learn more about leadership and his expertise in the field.
Alex has more than 25 years of leadership experience at technology companies, so it makes him a perfect role model to look up to, to gain knwoledge on the work management and gap the bridge between technology and management.
After the openeing speech, Alex Shootman took the stage and had a really impressive and motivational talk. His speech was not only inspirational, but it was also very informative. He shared many useful tips and strategies on the ways of strating the work right, keeping it up and carrying out it suceesfully.
What made the presentation more captivating was Alex’s honest, straightforward style of speech and his personal stories spiced with a great sense of humour.
The audience was truly engaged in the presentation as they were a lot of questions asked following the talk.
Besides answering the questions Alex Shootman had prepared special gifts- his book “Done Right: How Tomorrow’s Top Leaders Get Stuff Done” for the most active participants and later signed those for them.
After the formal part of the presentation, the participants had a coffee break and were given a chance to network, to have an informal talk with Alex and Workfront leadership team and learn about open positions at Workfront.
