How we are responding to the coronavirus at itravelar

For the past few months like many other businesses itravelar has been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. The safety of our team and customers is our priority, hence we have made some changes in the processes and some of our services and trips.

We are facing an unprecedented situation and it’s challenges brought by the spread of the COVID-19, we understand that this has impact not just in our business world even in the personal lives of our team, partners and customers, having them in mind we have decided to adopt more suitable measures to allow us to still serve our customers and partners and stay safe.

This maybe hard because after months of been on hold, itravelar had officially started it’s operations again this year , but we are taking this as a challenge to be more innovative and serve our customers.

The following are the changes:

Taking care of our people

Our team will officially be working virtually for the next 15 days while we monitor the situation specially here in Tanzania, internally we have adopted means of working and delivering services.

For any meeting internal or those with our customers will be done virtually within this period of time. We will keep our team safe.

Taking care of our customers and partners

We will continue serving our customers especially with services like “ trip consultations” , “ itinerary consultations” and “ content creation”, sharing the experiences with them.

We will continue sharing the best of the world and give support and encouraging experience to our customers, in a mean time we will postpone all the trips that were to happen in April to Sep while we keep monitoring the situation.

Moving forward

The knowledge about this virus is still very limited hence it’s a serious challenge for businesses, individuals and the globe hence we urge our customers, partners and the whole world to take this in highest level of seriousness. We will get through this together.

Above all I believe in times like these, the world needs encouragement, hope, empathy and humanness in every decision we make, every communication we make and every action we take.
