Finding the silver(ish) lining in Afghanistan’s Emerald City. The idea here is that no matter how bad it gets, NATO and the Americans and the Afghan government are going to tell us everything’s fine. So…it’s always sunny in Kabul. Because the idea that this whole thing might be going poorly is probably too much for any of us to handle.
