We mostly ate Japanese food in the city and then some Chinese food in the Richmond district.

Food

Guu with Garlic

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants - there are a series of Guu restaurants around Vancouver too with similar food. It’s an izakaya place so drink beer and try new things.

Japadog

Street carts with great sausages and toppings

Miura Waffle

Pretty unique place that serves Waffles and desserts - they have a bulgogi waffle sandwich that was really good.

Twisted Fork

Good brunch

Santouka Ramen

We have these in the bay area, but they’re still good.

Activities

Not a very detailed or comprehensive list since we mostly just eat on vacation:

  1. Rent bikes and ride around Stanley Park
  2. Shop at Robson street
  3. Granville island
  4. Whistler in the winter
