Jeffrey Chen, Partner at Imaginary Capital, tweeted out last month, “When will someone build a personal CRM for VC? Features I need: reminders to catch up with people, a place to write down notes about people as I met them, a mobile app.”

Jessica Hernandez, General Partner at Seed Capital and former Head of Enterprise Sales at Microsoft, says her secret to being a 10x investor is using Hubspot. “Every sales CRM has all the features a personal CRM would. But, for some reason, no VC has ever used a CRM before.”

Hernandez tells us she spent the weekend helping Chen set up Hubspot. “It’s amazing,” Chen said. “I can even use this thing called a ‘lead score’ that lets me quantify how important someone is to talk to! I made my son a 100.”

Chen has since tweeted other requests for startups, including an instant messaging platform that allows companies to communicate more efficiently. “Right now we manage all of our deals via email, which is so inefficient! Imagine Discord, but for companies. I’m hiring engineers for our platform team to build this right now. DM if interested.”

In unrelated news, Imaginary’s returns have reportedly slipped. Leaked internal documents report that Imaginary’s 2012 fund had a 16% internal rate of return (IRR). Top quartile funds return at least 30%+ IRR. “They’ve missed literally every enterprise SaaS unicorns in the past 10 years,” one of their LPs tells us.
