How to find your theme for 2021.
Nothing really changes when the new year comes around. The only real change (this year) is that the final zero in 2020 will turn into a one.
Of course, like many of you, I love the idea of a fresh start. A chance to better myself and improve upon the last year. Aside from setting new plans that’ll help me reach my overall goals, I wanted to do something more — something different. I don’t know about you, but I don’t need to add more goals to my plate.
Inspired by the one-word daily intentions I’ve seen here and there on social media, I decided to set a one-word intention for 2021. Throughout the year, this word will act as a guide. A north star. Here’s what I mean.
My Word of Intention for 2021
A word of intention should feel like a ghost — a presence you feel and know is there but can’t see. It’s a guide that, over time, can help you snap into the person you intend to be.
That word of intention can be anything you want it to be, and we’ll talk examples in a bit, but here’s mine: Focus.
