On October 28th, 2015, Ivy Film Festival presented a free pre-release screening of Brooklyn written by Nick Hornby and starring Saoirse Ronan. Hosted at the Avon Cinema, students turned out in large numbers to see the profound story of a young Irish immigrant trying to make her way in 1950s Brooklyn.
