IFF 2015–2016 Directors Solveig Xia ’17 and Angela Guo ’16 call a toast

On December 5th 2015, Ivy Film Festival hosted its party of the fall semester. Dedicated to 2016 and new beginnings, the IFF Re-Launch Party was held in the Chace Lobby of the RISD Museum. A sold-out event, attendees dressed in black and white attire, enjoyed cocktails and refreshments and danced to music provided by a live DJ.

At the Re-Launch Party, IFF revealed its new logo for the 2015–2016 year. The new logo was the first element of IFF’s rebranding, which focused on creating a new aesthetic for all Festival material while also honoring the distinguished festivals of the past. A pinnacle event of the night, 2015–2016 Directors Solveig Xia ’17 and Angela Guo ’16 took the stage to speak on IFF’s history, its recent growth, and its future. An event enjoyed by all, the Re-Launch Party was both a celebration of IFF, and an introduction into its new beginnings.
