Throughout the year, Ivy Film Festival has been holding competitions to recognize the work of student screenwriters and filmmakers. Student work is at the heart of IFF; we want to celebrate those who haven’t yet made it to the big screen. For the themed screenplay competitions, IFF releases a set of optional prompts to provide inspiration for the writing process. The 48-Hour Film Competition required that films incorporate one thing from four out of five listed categories (location, characters, props, actions, dialogue). Here are some highlights from IFF’s contests this year:

Annual Horror Screenplay Competition
