From November 13th-15th 2015, IFF held its annual 48-Hour Film Competition. In just the space of a weekend, student filmmakers conceived of, wrote, filmed, edited and completed a short film based on the prompts released by IFF (which can be found at http://ivyfilmfestival.com/48hr/).

The 1st Place Winner of this year’s contest is “Coach” by Pom Bunsermvicha’s ’16 team. In this short film, a swimmer gathers himself before a swim meet. The film’s team received $200 as a prize, and will have their film included in the IFF 2016 Official Student Selection.

The 2nd Place Winner is “Carnival” by Marcus Sudac’s ’15 team. This experimental narrative follows three performers as they move from creative space to reality. The film’s team received $100 as a prize.
