After an intense sprint by our Community Peer Review Panel, we’re proud to share the 2023 Interaction Awards shortlist!

Everyone who submitted projects contributed to this diverse body of work. With submissions from more than 20 countries, this year’s shortlist of 68 projects includes first-time appearances from student teams all the way through to enterprise-level projects with global adoption. Introduced in 2021, the indie/non-profit category represented almost 10% of the 2023 submissions.

The domains covered by this year’s list hint at areas of focus from the last two years — empowering users to manage data, make sustainable decisions, increase accessibility, and the role that AI may play across several sectors. The audiences these projects aim to help and empower range from the young to old, from the social to the introverted, and from the comfortable to those who need comfort.
