Today we have lift-off as the ixo Launchpad begins to launch the first cohort of Impact DAO marketplaces!
The mission: Accelerate Impact DAOs building decentralized impact marketplaces on the Web3 Internet of Impact.
Impact DAOs can now host their own decentralized impact marketplaces using the open-source ixo software platform — like Wordpress for the Web3 Internet of Impact.
Impact DAO marketplaces connect agents of impact to create their own Impact DAOs, raise capital, invest in impact bonds, implement projects, employ impact oracles, verify impact claims, issue and exchange digital impact assets, and access Web3 services across blockchain networks.
As an ixo stakeholder, you will be able to bond $IXO into each voting epoch, to the Impact DAO candidates that you believe in. If your selections are successful, you could receive up to 20% yield in IXO tokens (800% APY!).

How the ixo Launchpad works
The ixo Launchpad offers Impact DAO a platform on which to pitch and fund their ecosystem vision, define value propositions, establish partnerships — including through DAO-DAO deals, and use Web3 technologies to build their sustainable impact marketplace that will grow a tokenized impact economy, at Internet scale!
The first cohort of Impact DAOs is already creating marketplaces across a diverse range of impact sectors and geographic territories, for primary education, creating jobs in the green economy, conserving critical habitats, regenerative agroforestry, distributing clean-burning cookstoves, strengthening social services delivery, and many more in the pipeline.
Impact DAOs build their own marketplaces on the Internet of Impact, using the open-source ixo software stack and tooling, which includes:
The Impact Marketplace Platform, an open-source web application platform (like WordPress for the Web3 Internet of Impact) for hosting and connecting:
- DAOs with governance and treasury management.
- Projects with verifiable claims, agent management and payments processing.
- Investment portfolios of AlphaBonds.
- Oracles for claims verification and other prediction functions
- Assets and exchanging Impact Tokens.
- A Decentralised Impact Exchange built into each marketplace.
- The Impact Wallet for iOS and Android.
- Opera Mobile Wallet integration, to reach millions of users, and EarthPort developer portal for building light-wight mobile web applications that can be rapidly prototyped and easily scaled.
ImpactDAOs building on the ixo blockchain get powerful analytics dashboards and tools to coordinate agents, source services, issue tokenized bonds, process claims, make payments, mint and trade Impact Tokens, and manage portfolios of digital assets. All with full ownership and non-custodial control of their identity, data and assets — unlike a Web 2.0 SaaS!
How ixo stakeholders can participate
ixo Stakeholders choose which Launchpad candidates should receive priority acceleration support by staking IXO tokens into voting bonds. 1 $IXO = 1* vote. Impact DAO candidates that achieve 500,000* votes qualify to be accelerated by joining the Impact Creators Course and they receive technical and commercial support to build a Minimum Viable Ecosystem (MVE) to implement their Ecosystem Vision.
For ixo stakeholders who have voted for a chosen candidate, a voting reward of up to 20% additional IXO tokens is returned when unbonding at the end of the voting epoch. The exact yield is determined by how early a stakeholder bonds into the voting bonding curve, to reward your conviction.
If a candidate does not succeed, stakeholders get their IXO tokens back at the end of the voting epoch and can choose to participate in the next round of voting.

The first four launchpad candidates are Ekonavi, IDCC, Learning Mined, and Green Yoma.
Ekonavi
Ekonavi is a network of over 650 sustainable activity projects in Brazil. It is a collaborative platform which focuses on mapping, promoting and supporting ecological activities as well as sustainable agricultural development in Brazil. By leveraging the ixo blockchain, Ekonavi aims to create a network of environmental preservation and regenerative activities. By accurately monitoring and verifying impact and earth state changes, it wants to create marketplaces focused on the sustainable economy.
IDCC
IDCC is a collaborative platform engaging key stakeholders from the social sector including government funders, impact intermediaries, SPOs, community organizations and their beneficiaries to use ixo technologies for securely sharing data for impact verification and impact intelligence, and to use regenerative finance (ReFi) to grow a thriving social economy sector.
Learning Mined
Learning Mined wants to scale access to digital education technologies and connect millions of children with educational software that is designed to adapt to their level of learning. Funded using ixo Alphabonds, tablet devices are distributed to children to deliver adaptive learning educational software. The tablets send back progress data to the Internet of Impact that is used to calculate an Alpha value that dynamically adjusts the pricing of each Alphabond and predicts the payouts that will be returned to investors.
Green Yoma
Yoma is a digital marketplace that will focus around individualized learn-to-earn pathways with a focus on youth, aligning opportunities with their aspirations, potential, and the market demand. As users engage with the platform, their achievements and personal growth are verified using blockchain and added to a digital CV, which they can share with peers and employers. This allows youth to build an alternative trust profile, which enhances employability and allows for more informed matching opportunities in the green economy.
Launchpad Timeline
As of today, the ixo Launchpad is live on ixo Mainnet! In the next few weeks, you will see the Launchpad populate itself with the pitches of the first Impact DAO cohort. Voting will be possible when we reach another huge milestone, scheduled for mid June, the release of our Impact Wallet! In the meantime we invite you to get involved and familiarize yourself with the projects that will soon launch on ixo!
