“The Ring to Rule them all”

What a great movie, a long and boring plot with some kick ass battle scenes throughout the film so if you are an impatient bastard this movie is not for you. The movie starts off as your go to action movie with a giant fight scene to set up the background from where and how the ring was forged and how the ring got to our main character Frodo Baggins: played by Elijah Wood. From here the series of the Lord of The Rings was created. The movies were created in honor of the books created by J.R.R Tolkien. The author who created these books was a fantasy/adventure writer because of how his stories ended up being. This can be seen just by how the movie was set up, start off by showing where the origin of the ring comes from and then throughout the movie just showing where the ring is to go because it needs to be destroyed. When the ring falls into our main character’s hands, then the journey starts from there.

The story line of this move is so beautifully written that it is so hard not to be engaged throughout the entire movie. The script is beautifully written and the costume design along with the CGI is outstanding, at least for a movie that was created nearly 2 decades ago. The way the lines were written created a story that was really engaging. Besides script writing the costume design of the movie is pretty great because the people selected for the makeup do not even look human anymore which they were going for. One thing that seemed very interesting to me were the people selected for the film. One guy in particular was Orlando Bloom, the man who played Legolas or people who are more familiar with his other role as Will Turner from the pirates of the Caribbean series. His acting career thrived off of these 2 franchises because when people think of Orlando Bloom it’s either Legolas or Will that they think of because those are the characters he put the most time in. It seems like once these franchises were over with his acting career just plummeted because like many other actors, he’s known for only 1 role and can’t really pull of any other character. This is why I thought it was quite interesting that they chose Orlando Bloom. The movie goes on to say that orcs were once men who were corrupted by Sauron and the one ring which is how they became the way they did. Hours of makeup design to create the perfect fantasy characters. The CGI was pretty amazing too because it enhanced the battle by throwing in creatures that created a beautiful scene of action. I mean look how kick ass this CGI character is, it’s called the Balrog.

Kick Ass CGI Character.

The Lord of The Rings: The fellowship of ring was an exquisite movie that started the series of the trilogy. For hardcore movie lovers who love action but also a great story line I would suggest to start off by watching this movie because it has great characters and epic scenes. This is masterpiece created by J.R.R Tolkien through the books and created on the big screen by Peter Jackson. A fantasy lover’s dream, so go on and watch it.
