If you’ve ever written fantasy or science fiction, then you know how damnable hard it is to get professionally published. It’s a mountain that only the strong of heart should consider climbing.

And it is even more rare that your professionally published work to win an award. Very. Very. Very. Rare.

But that just happened and I’m still in shock.

My book has won Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Science Fiction & Fantasy: Writers of the Future Volume 38

This is a major award. 1,900 Entries, 170 judges, and 53 categories and we were recognized as a gold medal winner 🥇 for the best Independently Published Book of 2022. What could be better for a writer to be a part of a winning book? Answer: Absolutely Nothing.

It just goes to show you that everybody who tells you that you can’t do something, is completely wrong. Anybody who tells you that you have no talent is completely wrong. And everybody who says you’ll never achieve, is completely wrong. They are all wrong. You’re the only one that’s ever right — remember that!

So keep on keeping on, you can do it!

Oh, and here’s some teaser artwork for my next upcoming book: Three Days in the Red Hell of Aztec Horror. Hint. Hint. There’s a lot of action in it.
