Once there was a little penguin who lived with bluebirds.

When his siblings began to fly, he could not. He tried and tried but failed to do so. One day he asked his mom why he could not fly. His mom told him he was a penguin.

After that talk, he left and went south to see his biological family. All the penguins, including his family, laughed because he was not like them — he ate worms, not fish, and could not swim. Defeated, he left and returned to where the bluebirds lived.

“Goodnight my little penguin, I hope you have sweet dreams,” said his bluebird mother as he settled in for the night.

As his eyes grew heavy and the darkness of sleep engulfed him, a light appeared and the little penguin spread his wings and took flight with his family of bluebirds.
