Ever hit a plateau? — Jag Chima
Now, this isn’t always with physical goals such as your personal fitness. You may hit a plateau where you find you are unable to think beyond a certain level or with the planning and adherence of your goals.
Having little or no change after persistent efforts can be common.
In these instances, I feel it is vital you take a step back and take a new approach.
“You will always get what you’ve always got if you always do what you’ve always done.”
Sometimes it’s just a case of taking a timeout and giving your mind time to rejuvenate. It works better after a reboot.
People who train hard all year round. They might find it difficult to take a small break, simply because it’s hard to change habits good or bad.
But after a small break, they usually come back stronger and better.
Same as a car. If you drive it 5 years straight without service, it probably won’t last.
If you service your car each year, then you will definitely go further for longer.
