A topic I get asked about often.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
So many humans hold back their potential.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
There has always been this perception that some people have created about the consequences of not fitting into the trends of the masses.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
I notice this a lot in India.⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣
Some of these perceptions include: ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
‘If you dress a certain way you will be rejected, you won’t get a good job and may lose your friends.’⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
“You must become a doctor, lawyer or engineer to earn a good living and be respected.”⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Not just in India, around the world.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Some wear clothes which are trending just to fit in.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Some lie about their education.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
I even know of people who have changed their name in fear of being rejected due to their origin.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
These are just some examples.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
The flip side is that there is a small percentage of the population who didn’t give a damn what others think.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
They do what makes them happy.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Guess what? Some of these people are amongst the most successful humans on the planet. They are not doctors or engineers. They don’t wear clothes that are trending and have the most distinctive names.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
They simply believe in themselves and do what makes them happy.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
They set new standards all the time.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
When I was at school and college, I was one who did things due to fear of rejection. But many of my life experiences along the way taught me that it doesn’t matter what others think. Innovation is built on rejection.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Rejection is a redirection to a better place.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Be proud, amplify your passion and flaunt it.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Just my thoughts this morning.⁣⁣ Give me a ‘hell yeah’ if you agree.⁣
