“It’s totally different than Iraqis and Syrians. When we have psychological problems and want to see a social worker from the UNHCR they always say to the Sudanese refugees ‘Go back. We will call you back.’ They are not even ready to listen to our problems, so to whom shall we explain our problems to?” — Sara Suliman , a mother of two, a few weeks before being deported.

Currently Sara’s whereabouts are unknown. It’s feared that Sara, her children, and family have been imprisoned in Khartoum.
