With String Reveals : How it All Started?
Let me tell you about my friendship with this man and the craze that this guy is. I met Vinodh 4years ago when we did a Mahashivratri podcast ( You can find that on my TheOceanofBliss Podcast). Back then when i met him Vinodh was doing “Sadhguru And” a very successful and one of its kind YouTube channel for Sadhguru which has shaked YouTube with videos of logical loopholes of Zakir naik wonderfully busted and other spiritual videos which I am sure you will still find many international youtubers giving reaction to those videos and many Facebook pages taking up his videos and uploading which went millions of views.
I used to ask him anna how do you attempt to put so much masala and he used to say anna whatever I do I want It to be once in a lifetime kind of thing and so it is, whether it be the thug life videos of Sadhguru or the Troll videos he was first youtuber who tried to present Sadhguru in a totally different avatar through his editing.
Back then I had started Theoceanofbliss Channel on all platforms and was into active volunteering with isha. It was in Mahashivratri 2 years ago when we met he asked me to come and do the shooting for “Muslims sharing about Mahashivratri” and it went super viral on Facebook and YouTube. This time he came to Isha for the Samyama Program and it was then when I met him he told me about this channel he was planning to make. He was sharing how he is planning to make a BBC level media and information channel for Bharat and asked me to come and join him. At first i thought it’s ok but didn’t knew how serious he was about it’s manifestation. But then soon after a few months he started it and shared with me the first video and you all might have seen how the initial videos of string went viral. Even after that i was not sure as i didnt wanted to drop all the level of activity i was doing on my own pages and channels along with Volunteering. Although I was literally very happy seeing someone specially one who is soaked into Spiritual Sadhana taking the initiative of presenting for the first time facts against these stupid intellectuals who knew nothing about this culture of Bharat, i still was not able to make up my mind.
I was doing well with my own thing and been into all kinds of activities for Sadhguru but somewhere there was this pull to come and outpour a lot of things i had within me, to work with him after he told me to come and join him. Above all to work with someone whose heart beats as intensely and as passionately for the nation. But i couldn’t leave off all my work that i was doing at that time, so one day i called him and asked him what to do, Vinodh just said “Anna come off to my place. Everything will happen you just come.” We decided that i will come off to his place and he will help me to juggle all of these together. Since then it has been a rollercoaster ride and a whole new world of learnings about the Political world as the spiritual side of life.If it was not for Vinodh i dont know how someone else would have handed so much of controversy single handedly without losing once core and with so much calmness and awareness.
After i came to String it was a whole different set of experience and learning to work with this man.It was then when Vinodh anna planned of the Jihad and Jahid series, initially i was a bit hesitant as to how much to share because there was a whole ocean of things i wanted to pour out and also this could get me into serious trouble for speaking the truth up so boldly but however the consequence would look like we had to do it, as the energy and the master to whom we as Ishas belong to there can be no brakes only throttle. So it all started Jihad and Jahid went Viral all over the internet and we went into many troubles also (laughing) but at the end of the day seeing all the comments and how people were touched by it, there were no scope for regrets. Personally with my time at String i had learnt a lot of things about Vinodh as a person, the spiritual side of him, also the crazy amount of skills he has developed through his years of practice and devotion towards his craft. If you ask me i was always a person who uses activity and yogic practices as the only way when it comes to small things like eating, sleeping, cooking i am not much conscious and dont do these things with the equal amount of significance when i am doing all these things but vinodh anna used to be very particular about, i saw him very conscious about small small things like the way things are arranged in a room to what and how we eat. These are not small things these are big things” and yes they are wherever i became a little unconscious of things he was there to guide and he used to constantly push into that zone of awareness of activity that a spiritual seeker has to be in. Being with him i became aware of the other side of me which also needs to be worked on.
Whenever we have time, we enjoyed doing a lot of fun activities like farm, cooking, waking up in the morning and enjoying the sun or just simply cleaning the house, He constantly tried and reminded me of the importance of not being lost in activity alone. If you have read till here till now you might think why i am sharing this now, its just that this had to be shared today and above all i wanted you guys to have a glimpse of how one need not be miserable or robot like productivity freak to do something worthwhile you can live consciously and yet do big things in the world. When i asked Vinodh anna how do you address your day he says “I Just Watch the first few thoughts that appears in my mind everyday and address them thats it.” as per i can infer what that means is if you pay enough attention everything that needs to be done is already in front of your eyes inside your own being, you just have to pay attention and manifest it.
So this sharing was about this is how it all started and i think a lot of ignorance has been slaughtered till now through the individual consciousness of this man.. and much more to happen. Hope you guys loved the sharing. Namaskaram.
