“Technology is increasing the amount of information we have access to, but it does not increase our capacity to absorb information. However, if it is used wisely, communication technologies can create a platform for intercultural learning”

What plan and policy do you have in place to develop intercultural competence in your organization? How do you prepare yourself and your organization for an intercultural workforce?

What We Discussed:

  1. What was a moment that caused a deep shift in your perspective on what interculturalism means? What did you learn?
  2. Where do you look to for best practices and inspiration in preparing your organization with the right set of soft skills for the future of work? (great place to list resources/papers/websites with insights)
  3. As we see an increase in global mobility of the workforce and virtual roles, how do we balance the importance of diversity with the need for ‘team cultural fit’?
  4. What is the role of curiosity at the intersection of intercultural competency and the future of work?
