New Lotus Sutra Translation

The Lotus Sutra was my introduction to Mahāyāna and still holds my imagination and thoughts. The vivid scenes, metaphors and similes have a true “sticking power” that are incredibly hard to forget. I still occasionally read a chapter or two from time to time and plan to revisit it for a much deeper and fuller study. Chapter 12 especially still maintains a hold on my mind.

Yesterday the excellent translation project 84000 announced a new completed translation and a brief read of chapter one definitely appears this is a gold standard as far as english translations go.
