Facebook is targeting people at risk for HIV by accepting ads from law firms that make false and misleading claims about PrEP, a critical tool in the fight against HIV. LGBTQ and public health agencies are demanding Facebook stop the ads, but to no effect. At the same time, Facebook is refusing to run ads that promote PrEP awareness.
