Following from two conversations on “reimagining new narratives” and “reclaiming African narratives through storytelling: what’s need”, the third follow up conversation (making it happen), we called in the “do’ers”. They shared their learnings on bringing others into the market, while we interrogated their models and innovations.

We received some inspiration and practical steps on how they built their platforms in helping African’s reclaim their narrative through storytelling.

Speakers during this discussion included:

  • Dr Nkiru Balonwu, founder Africa Soft Power Project
  • Nanjala Nyabola, Writer, Advocate and Traveller,
  • Daniel Orubo, Editor-in-Chief, Zikoko

This Jamlab Meetup was in collaboration with the Civic Tech Innovation Network.
