You don’t have a media start up if you don’t sell!
Apply now to join 2 day sales workshop for digital media start ups with Memeburn’s Carl Davis and Matthew Buckland
Digital media startups enter a tough business climate where even the major media houses are struggling with online advertising income. Selling and business development is core to your success.
JamLab is hosting a two day sales and business development workshop organised by the South African Media Innovation Program. The workshop is led by Carl Davis, General manager of Burn Media, publishers of Memeburn and Ventureburn, and Matthew Buckland, founder of Memeburn and of Creative Spark, a leading digital agency. This is a great opportunity to build the sustainability of your venture.
Over the two days you will work on developing a sales strategy, using digital analytics and measurement tools for supporting sales, converting leads into sales, and developing a viable business strategy for your digital media venture.
The workshop takes place at Tshimologong in Braamfontein on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th June, before this year’s Menell Media Exchange. There are only ten places still available so apply now with your name, your LinkedIn or other profile and the url of your digital media. Preference will be given to JamLab fellows and Tshimologong members. The workshop is free.
