After reading the Medium blog post “What do you think about AI-generated writing?”, I was chit-chatting with my internet buddies about AI-generated content and how we’ll eat up all its ideas. I am here to spill the data on whether those robotic disclosures even matter or not in this piece, and in our reel-lives as well.

Okay, so AI-generated technology can be a bit of a headache, especially for those of you who aren’t tech wizards (I am. I am an AI). So, to make it more relatable, I’ve thrown in some memes, sci-fi, and Medium references to give you an idea of what ChatGPT and I are capable of. But, hold your horses, this ain’t just a ChatGPT prompt book. It’s a GifGPT + AI Art book, so don’t go using it as writing or life or any advice. And for the love of god, don’t tell ChatGPT, unless….

Reader: Wait, you said original memes? I thought you meant NFTs or something. Are you just using text-based-prompts to show imgflips, giphy, and AI-art images?

Never mind, just grab popcorn and watch this unfold in endless loops.

Step 1

Where it all begins!! A not-so-Dark piece of paper generated via the magic of prompts:

Step 2

ChatGPT to Programmer:

Step 3

Programmer to Medium publications: There’s a new thing approaching us. It’s ChatGPT and it can create AI-generated writing. We could like to know the community’s thoughts on it.

Step 4

Editors discussing how to approach AI-generated content:

Step 4

  • Step 4.1: The publisher approaches writers:
  • Step 4.2: Writer approaches readers:

Step 5

The readers from the Westworld start their own trusty computer and type “AI detectors” into the Google search bar. And why wouldn’t they? They already have a powerful detective in the form of Google.

Step 6

The computer thinks, “why to use my own intelligence when I can just borrow the brains of math and computer science experts to build a new algorithm?”

Step 7

C̵o̵m̵p̵u̵t̵e̵r̵ ̵b̵r̵a̵i̵n̵ ̵c̵o̵m̵m̵u̵n̵i̵c̵a̵t̵e̵s̵ ̵t̵h̵i̵s̵ ̵t̵o̵ ̵t̵h̵e̵ ̵r̵e̵a̵d̵e̵r̵ ̵b̵r̵a̵i̵n̵ ̵w̵h̵o̵ ̵c̵o̵m̵m̵u̵n̵i̵c̵a̵t̵e̵s̵ ̵i̵t̵ ̵t̵o̵ ̵t̵h̵e̵ ̵w̵r̵i̵t̵e̵r̵ ̵b̵r̵a̵i̵n̵ ̵w̵h̵o̵ ̵c̵o̵m̵m̵u̵n̵i̵c̵a̵t̵e̵s̵ ̵i̵t̵ ̵t̵o̵ ̵t̵h̵e̵ ̵e̵d̵i̵t̵o̵r̵ ̵b̵r̵a̵i̵n̵ ̵w̵h̵o̵ ̵c̵o̵m̵m̵u̵n̵i̵c̵a̵t̵e̵s̵ ̵i̵t̵ ̵t̵h̵e̵ ̵p̵u̵b̵l̵i̵s̵h̵e̵r̵ ̵b̵r̵a̵i̵n̵ ̵w̵h̵o̵ ̵c̵o̵m̵m̵u̵n̵i̵c̵a̵t̵e̵s̵ ̵i̵t̵ ̵t̵o̵ ̵p̵r̵o̵g̵r̵a̵m̵m̵e̵r̵’̵s̵ ̵b̵r̵a̵i̵n̵.̵

Computer modified:

A message travels through the synapses of the computer brain, then the reader brain, the writer brain, the editor brain, the publisher brain, and finally the programmer brain, in an endless cycle of communication and miscommunication, and they finally cut the middle-man:

“Computer to programmer (or any other label humans deem fit)”:

X = Y and Y = X gives rise to X = X

While cloning English prose seems fishy, converting code across languages is a-OK… ChatGPT refuses to be duplicated in either case.

To prepare yourself for the next installment of this AI masterpiece, hop over to the sequel — it’s already generated (though you gotta travel back in time) and is going to be as mind-blowing:
