02/02/2018 — Janngo participated to President Emmanuel Macron first official visit to Senegal, showcasing how technology and entrepreneurship can be strong driver of economic growth and social impact
In the wake of the Global Partnership for Education conference held in Dakar on February 2nd, Janngo joined the delegation of President Emmanuel Macron for his first official visit to Senegal.
The importance of education in the development of countries was stressed at this occasion while emblematic CEOs held bilateral meetings focusing on an economic agenda and mutual cooperation opportunities. The CEO delegation included namely Stéphane Richard, CEO of Orange, Thierry Breton, CEO of Atos, Xavier Niel, Founder of Iliad and Fatoumata BA, CEO of Janngo. At the occasion of the official dinner hosted at the Senegalese presidential palace at the invitation of President Macky Sall, President Emmanuel Macron praised entrepreneurs efforts to alleviate social challenges leveraging technology and addressed Fatoumata BA as “Africa’s Tech Champion”.
