23/05/2018— Janngo’s Founder & CEO will give a keynote Talk during Viva Technology on Tech for Good in Africa on May 24th and 26th
Two days after its funding announcement, Janngo will be attended at Viva Technology to share about Tech for Good in Africa.
“Tech for Good”, a topic at the heart of today’s preoccupations with the Paris Tech for Good Summit, hosted by President of France Emmanuel Macron, which is taking place this very day at the Elysee Palace. “Africa” will be also highlighted with the AfricaTech zone. Indeed, the African continent that leapfrogged home telephones to mobile banking is today a new digital frontier, driven by 1.2 billion aspirational people — mostly under-25 ‘digital natives’ — 995 million mobile subscriptions, and 362 million internet users.
As a woman inspiring the future of African Tech for Good, Janngo’s Founder & CEO, Fatoumata Bâ has been invited to give a keynote Talk on May 24th and 26th. Both through her experience co-leading and growing Africa’s first unicorn and within Janngo, the 1st Social Startup Studio of Africa, she will focus on why she believes in building, growing and investing in robust ecosystems with emphasis on creating value for SMEs while creating jobs at scale and developing entrepreneurial skills for women and youth.
Janngo builds, grows and invests in pan-African digital champions with proven business models and inclusive social impact. We build digital ecosystems in high growth sectors by providing business support and digital platforms allowing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to scale and contribute to the economic empowerment of youth and women through job creation and capacity building.
