The Trade Minister of Ivory Coast, M. Souleymane Diarrassouba and the Executive Director of the International Trade Center, Mrs. Arancha Gonzales co-chaired a round table in Abidjan with first-rate guests such as Fatoumata Bâ, Founder of Jumia in Côte d’Ivoire & CEO of Janngo

The Trade Minister of Ivory Coast, M. Souleymane Diarrassouba & the Executive Director of the International Trade Center, Mrs. Arancha Gonzales co-chaired a round table in Abidjan to share how technology in general an digital in particular can be enablers of international trade.

Mrs. Fatoumata Bâ, Founder of Jumia in Côte d’Ivoire & CEO of Janngo was invited to share her vision and approach to solve Ivorian SMEs pain points when trading at a global level as well as highlight how massive the cross border ecommerce opportunity from Africa will be with a $26b market by 2020. She exhorted institutional bodies to support tech entrepreneurs in building capacity for SMEs to operate online as well as accelerate regional integrations efforts, especially when it comes to customs clearance. She also expressed how Janngo is focusing on building digital platforms to accelerate SMEs growth, with a huge stress on regional and international expansion opportunities.
