We brought him from Japan to the states back in 2014. Thanks to his noble and healthy bloodline, we took him to the vet as few as possible for those years. How our lives have been affected by this small, yet huge presence tomcat?

Abyssinian Johnny was born in Sep. 21, 2013 in Sagamihara, Japan. He was raised with his brothers and sisters until he met us.

I (H) remember that he took to my partner, Y so badly at the first sight and it made me feel jealous. Oh well. Johnny was playing hide and seek in Y’s blazer, everyone in the room was mesmerized by his innocent behavior.

We have been through a lot together, parted for a few times when the situation didn’t allow us to stay together. But overall, we’ve been together and learned a lot about each other.

It’s no big deal to live with cats, you just need to understand them. They are pretty much like an attractive woman or man, very independent. When they want to be alone, let them alone. But they are also so much affectionate, playing with them a lot earn you a lot of credit.

Actually, we missed celebrating his birthday since H was sick. But anyway, we enjoy celebrating his belated birthday and Johnny doesn’t care about the date as long as he gets some nice treats;-)

I bought him Buddy Biscuits and Freeze-dried Chicken Hearts at Petagogy, considering he has a tendency to throw up the freeze-dried stuff regardless of its quality, so I decided to buy him something with moisture.

I got the biscuits above thinking it’d be good for him since it contains relatively much moisture compared to the freeze-dried food we give him regularly.

Johnny prefered this chicken hearts better. He went crazy over it.

I asked some advice from the woman at the store, she agreed with my choice. We are lucky to have this store near us. They are little pricey, but it’s a special occasion and we can pay some extra price to make this day happy.
