Haircare Product Review: Moist, Diane Repair Hair Mask and Scalp Essence — The Saving Grace for my dry and damaged hair
Cute, but beautiful — that is Moist, Diane’s concept. To give you a little background, Moist Diane is NatureLab.co’s hair care brand that is silicon free and the signature products under this brand are argan oil and beauty keratin series.
Fortunately for us, the signature argan oil series and botanical series are available in Singapore. (yay) I chanced upon Moist, Diane by luck as I wanted to find a hair mask that was affordable and scalp essence that could combat dry flaky scalp.
But first, let’s pause for a commercial break to admire how beautiful Rola is in the CM video.
I have been using Intensive Damage Repair Hair Mask (left) — $18.90 and Scalp Essence (Mist Type) (right) — $18.90 and they both work extremely well for me.
Moist, Diane — Scalp Essence
The scalp essence contains 48 scalp relieving herbs such as tea tree and peppermint which refreshes and soothes an irritated scalp. It also helps to fight scalp order, dandruff and promote healthy hair growth. Although it states that it is suitable for oily scalp, it still worked tremendously on my dry scalp as it stopped the flaking and left a nice minty feeling.
It is also MADE IN JAPAN and clinically tested on Asian hair for hot and humid climate. I apply this daily after washing my hair.
Directions for use (taken from the back of packaging):
- Apply on towel-dried hair after shower.
- Section hair and spray essence directly onto scalp.
- Use fingertips to gently massage scalp in circular motion to boost absorption and circulation.
- Proceed to blow-dry hair if necessary.
- Rinse off is not required. Can be used on dry hair anytime to protect and refresh scalp on the go.
Moist, Diane — Extra Damage Hair Repair Mask
I found this at Don Don Donki but it is also available in Watsons too. It contains ingredients such as Apple Stem Cell Extract and Grape Seed Oil which provide nourishment and seal lost moisture.
It is also MADE IN JAPAN. I use this twice a week and my hair is in better condition now.

Direction for use (taken from the back of packaging):
- After shampooing, towel dry the hair to remove excess water before applying hair mask.
- Squeeze out an adequate amount of hair mask into the palms and apply evenly through hair.
- Leave hair mask on for about 5–7 minutes before rinsing it off thoroughly.
- Use together with Moist Diane Shampoo and Treatment for soft and lustrous looking hair. For very dry hair, use together with Moist Diane Extra Damage Repair series for best results.
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water immediately.
