Japan’s 100 Days After Birth Ritual

Babies are introduced to food in a ceremony called “Okuizome”

My baby turned 100 days old last week and I was surprised to do this ritual with her. My wife said not all Japanese people do it nowadays but more traditional families, especially those living in rural area still tend to do it.
