Hi there, Japonica readers and writers! How was your November?

Last month, Japonica editors had a wonderful dinner with Tim Sullivan in Atami, and we had a lovely afternoon tea at Park Hyatt Tokyo with a group of Japonica writers and readers. Later, we learned we were following a trend with the new word, ヌン活 (nunkatsu, afternoon tea activities), buzzing according to the list of nominated Japanese words of the year.

Thanks again to those who joined our meet-up, and we hope our friendship will last forever. We will definitely get together again!
